Does mattress steam cleaning help with dust mites?
Hot water extraction removes a lot of the dust, skin cells and mite droppings that build up in a mattress (the droppings are what most people actually react to), so it reduces the allergen load in the mattress. It is not a pest treatment. If you think you have bed bugs you need a licensed pest controller rather than a cleaner, and we will tell you that on the phone.
How long does a mattress take to dry?
The surface comes up dry well before the core does. We finish with a dry pass that pulls out as much moisture as the machine will take, so book it in the morning and the bed is ready that night. A fan or an open window speeds it up further.
Can you remove urine and blood stains from a mattress?
Yes. We use enzymatic spotters for urine and protein stains before the steam clean. Most stains lift out completely; we'll tell you upfront if any are permanent.
